Spiriti volano è un'ekphrasis, una collezione di poesie ispirate a dipinti, in questo caso della pittrice surrealista contemporanea Jolanda Richter. I componimenti, prettamente filosofici, danno vita ad un'alchimia tra la parola e l'immagine, tra la "metafisica istantanea" - come definiva Bachelard la poesia - e la pittura, coinvolgendo il lettore in tale processo dinamico di simbiosi tra le arti. Il libro è stato tradotto in inglese da Ann McGarrell, la traduzione a fianco. A flight of spirits is an ekphrasis, a collection of poems inspired by paintings, in this case the contemporary surrealist painter Jolanda Richter. The poems, which are purely philosophical, create an alchemy between word and image, between the «metaphysical instant» - as Bachelard defined poetry - and painting, engaging the reader in this a dynamic process of symbiosis between the arts. Each poem is both in Italian and English, the translation is by Ann McGarrell.
